WHO IS LEO

My name is Luisa Leonardi Scomazzoni, but everyone calls me Leo. My history is the history of anyone… anyone who believes in dreams. In 1985 I got my diploma as surveyor and then I worked in the family business, but I also realised that this was not my passion. In 1998 I decided that it was the right time to find a work that could express myself entirely. So I opened up Dalaleo, a showroom, pioneering in its genre, where I mix design accessories with high level ethnic style. It has been a great success. I travel a lot thanks to this work and do a lot of research. It’s thanks to a holiday that I got struck by an object. Only afterwards I could realise its importance, that of opening up the doors of a world yet unknown to me: fashion and design.
